Interpreters coordination

One of the main challenges in organising multilingual events is to find enough people to interpret into all the language combinations needed, sometimes in parallel sessions.

A good organisation and coordination, depending on the language combinations covered by the interpreters, as well as the format and type of each session (workshop, working groups, presentation followed by a Q&A session, plenary session, etc.), allows you to overcome language barriers and facilitates participation in large numbers.

What is essential is for there to be a person (or group) who has the overview of the event and can stay in touch with the organising team, the facilitators, and the interpreting and technical team to establish WHO will work WHERE, into what LANGUAGES, and using what EQUIPMENT.

GRAI is experienced in coordinating interpreters at transnational meetings with a high number of spoken languages and can provide help in organising such events. Contact us well in advance!
